Mrs. Chanie Baron

Morah Chanie, as she is affectionately called, is a passionate educator and a tireless advocate for the needs of young children. She believes in the power and potential of every child and serves as a coach and mentor to her team to inspire them to do the same.

For as long as she can remember, Chanie has loved interacting with the tiniest of humans. When she and her husband, Rabbi Hillel Baron, got married, they received the Lubavitcher Rebbe's blessing to move to Columbia, Maryland, and establish a Jewish educational outreach center to serve the needs of the Jewish Community in Howard County. The opening of Gan Israel Preschool allowed for a natural segue to providing an authentic Jewish educational experience for its youngest residents.
